Pre-existing conditions and Obamacare are the buzzwords of political ads here. It used to be you could tell if the candidate was a Democrat or a Republican (party labels seem to be verboten). But now Republicans are pledging to protect “pre-existing conditions.” The latest is John Cornyn, who now makes the same vague promises Trump does about healthcare and "pre-existing conditions" (gotta get those magic words in there!).
It’s pretty clear Democrats are running on healthcare, and Republicans are starting to worry. Given voter turnout is setting records, it’s probably too little too late. Democrats have been running on this much longer than the GOP has.
