Is The Debate In The Room With You Right Now?

I Googled variations on “Trump Fox Debate Time", and all I got was references to the Fox News broadcast of the CNN debate in June, with Biden. If Fox has announced a time, place, or even date, they’ve been very quiet about it.

Trump seemed to acknowledge this yesterday when he told Fox & Friends that the networks love him and he would debate Harris. On September 4? September 10? Half past never? TBD, apparently.

Meanwhile:

Right? Because Trump is at MAL calling friends to complain how unfair it is that Biden isn’t his opponent.
According to longtime GOP strategist Kevin Madden, "What’s happened in the last couple of weeks is we actually have a real race. This is a real presidential campaign. The Biden-Trump version of this was one event a week by each candidate, very rarely on the campaign trail and no real engagement. Now this is going to be one of those campaigns where strategies matter, resources matter, time matters, and there is not much room for error.”
And by all accounts, the Trump campaign has absolutely none of those things. So they’ve fallen back on “stolen valor” and swift boating, which really isn’t going anywhere. Although Trump has the Gray Lady on his side. I’m not sure that matters, as he’s off the campaign trail and Vance can’t draw flies. Despite the best efforts of the NYT: it’s pretty clear this is the future Trump sees: Why else would he have only one campaign appearance this week, in Montana? I’m sure the debate in Mar-A-Lago, moderated by Lora Loomer and Laura Trump, will solve everything.
