An agency that never really accomplished anything it was supposed to accomplish.

And Perry alone had the power to replace the DA if she resigned. If that ain't coercion and abuse of power, I don't know what is.

It's kinda like they know this isn't going to go well, so they're already pounding on the table.Rmjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06811456254443706479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9479398.post-65317304352301611252014-08-25T20:25:19.798-05:002014-08-25T20:25:19.798-05:00Congress has the plenary power to tax. That doesn't mean it's unlimited, given that the People can vote in members who might pass legislation lowering taxes and even banning quid pro quo tax cuts for donors. Odd, that.

It's almost like the job of special prosecutors and grand juries is to investigate abuse of powers like the one to veto shit.ntoddhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01068160577299501895noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9479398.post-37832905635069642222014-08-25T06:27:24.288-05:002014-08-25T06:27:24.288-05:00JCF: Pitts' analysis is a fine example of wha...JCF: Pitts' analysis is a fine example of what June calls "herd mentality."Rmjhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06811456254443706479noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9479398.post-30223956479688855112014-08-24T23:10:26.433-05:002014-08-24T23:10:26.433-05:00Horrible example of what you're talking about,...Horrible example of what you're talking about, Rmj, by Leonard Pitts Jr (of the Miami Herald), who should know better.

"Indicted for veto": AS IF a veto is an absolute right.
