I do think he learned everything he knows about civics from watching TV "reality".

The thing I find most troubling of all about the Trump phenomenon isn't Trump, it's that even with his treason with Russian intervention in our politics, even with his proven and dangerous incompetence in things like provoking, first, the North Korean-China fight with its potential to turn nuclear and which would certainly lead to tens or hundreds of thousands, if not millions of deaths but, Monday night, his playing a three-way game of chicken, using Pakistan and India over Afghanistan. I can only imagine what the leaders of India, Pakistan and what passes as leadership in Afghanistan thought of that, especially as he mixed in his comic book concept of plunder into the mix. What I find troubling is that according to the polls, roughly a third of the country supports the TV reality Fuhrer and his policies. That is extremely dangerous and a habit of thought that makes all previous assumptions of the impossibility of fascism here, seriously mistaken.

I wonder if McConnell's recent pushback against Trump means that now that Trump has targeted McConnell, he's willing to take his insanity into account and try to get rid of him. I'd wish it would be over the insanity endangering millions of lives but I don't think McConnell has that level of moral discernment.
