I was listening to a jackass congressman from your state going on about research into pregnancy among transboys who, apparently, hadn't thought out the possibility that not all transboys have had surgery to remove their reproductive organs. All I could think was, well, thank William Proxmire, though I would bet he'd have at least through things through at least that far. With all the things he could have gone after to try to tamp down excessive spending, the military budget, the military budget, the military budget, he often gave his "Golden Fleece Award" to arguably legitimate research.
