What a bunch of rubes. <br /><br />What this is is the most ephemeral and temporary of grasping at straws as provided by the short-lived reluctance of Republicans whose position isn't served well by having Trump as the nominee. Susan Collins, who is worried that those who have bought her "moderate" Republican act for her entire career will see through her if she comes out to support Trump (as she did Paul LePage) will not vote for her as instructed by the Maine media. Cruz, as Rubio and Kaisch all have an agenda that Trump, as of now, isn't convenient for. It's a little surprising to see Pierce joining with the likes of O'Heir on this but, as I said, my opinion of the profession has never been as low as it is now. I suspect he's not as up on Texas politics as someone who sees it up close is. If I had a dollar for every out-of-stater who thinks that Susan Collins has some values higher than her own election I'd be rolling in dough.
