"What Were All Those People Arrested For?"

"D.C. had no problems last night. Many arrests."

If there were no problems, what were all those people arrested for?
The President of the United States thinks mass arrests of U.S. citizens solves a "problem."  He thinks incarcerating people is a "solution."

This is not governance.  This is the abdication of governance.  This is what we condemn China for in Hong Kong.  But this is worse:  Trump is not a dictator.  He's an incompetent boob who has no idea what he's doing, what he should be doing, or how to do any of it.  He didn't even shut D.C. down last night, like he insisted he would do.  His thugs attacked innocent people and priests, and arrested people on grounds we don't even know about yet.  The legitimacy of those arrests is subject to review and challenge.  It cannot be assumed that even one of them was legitimate.

But the President thinks he "won."  And he's gonna break his arm patting himself on the back for it.
