He does know Trudeau can read these, right?PM Justin Trudeau of Canada acted so meek and mild during our @G7 meetings only to give a news conference after I left saying that, “US Tariffs were kind of insulting” and he “will not be pushed around.” Very dishonest & weak. Our Tariffs are in response to his of 270% on dairy!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 9, 2018
Canada makes cars?Based on Justin’s false statements at his news conference, and the fact that Canada is charging massive Tariffs to our U.S. farmers, workers and companies, I have instructed our U.S. Reps not to endorse the Communique as we look at Tariffs on automobiles flooding the U.S. Market!— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) June 9, 2018
Have you read what Mark Landler said about what Stephen Colbert called The Lipitor in Singapore in the NYT? Seems that that rag is invested in pretending Trump is prepared to go toe to toe with the dictator of N. Korea.
ReplyDelete"meek and mild" I don't believe for a second that Donald Trump wrote these tweets, it's someone on his staff who wrote these.
Apparently it's a campaign of gaslighting. Kudlow and a Trump trade rep are screaming about Trudeau's behavior. Which really means Trump was the bad actor. But they want to blame Trudeau.
ReplyDeleteAs if they had any credibility left. But, as Krugman points out, the media can't say Trump is insane, so "both sides" are "doing it".
Ludlow even said if the summit fails, Trudeau is to blame for making Trump look weak. Yeah, that's what happened....
