"Negotiation" means "Give Me What I Want"

"Authority as President of the United States" sounds suspiciously like "Because I'm King" than like a legal justification.  What inherent power does the President have to overrule Article 1 and the 5th Amendment to the Constitution?  Could he also suspend national elections in 2020?  Asking for a friend.

Will anything be offered to the Democrats?  Of course not, that's unreasonable!  Wait until the Supremes force our hand!
