1) Giuliani subpoenaed— The Hoarse Whisperer (@HoarseWisperer) September 30, 2019
2) Three Giuliani associates scheduled for depositions
3) Pompeo outed as being on the Ukraine call
4) New breaking story about Trump asked Australia to help discredit Mueller
This is just the news of the past hour.
And it isn’t even 5 pm.
Yeah, well, now it's after 5 p.m. Let the fun begin!
basically what's happening here is the President putting the full force of the United States, in its foreign policy, and the resources of the Dept of Justice, towards validating a bunch of RT/Infowars nonsense.— Chris Hayes (@chrislhayes) September 30, 2019
The whistleblower’s identity is protected by law. Trump is trying to retaliate against a witness in plain sight. https://t.co/xtxpK9rT8I— Renato Mariotti (@renato_mariotti) September 30, 2019
In May, Trump told reporters he hoped Barr “looks at the UK, and I hope he looks at Australia, and I hope he looks at Ukraine.” 🤔 pic.twitter.com/JibKa8f3UO— Felicia Sonmez (@feliciasonmez) September 30, 2019
When ARE we going to see that information that corroborates all these allegations against Trump?
There’s not a lot of defense of President Trump’s actual actions here. His pressure campaign on a foreign leader to get a campaign rival investigated? Not disputed, not even mentioned in these Republican talking points. https://t.co/GlUiHx6wK0— Susan Glasser (@sbg1) September 30, 2019
We've never seen anything quite like this, @SBG1 says -- a concerted, real-time effort to "spread propaganda and conspiracy theories, coming directly from the Oval Office" pic.twitter.com/Vr6GkbBz2e— Brian Stelter (@brianstelter) September 30, 2019
To be honest, that's been going on for 3 years now. It's just finally being taken seriously. Oh, watch out! INCOMING!
ICIG says in a new statement that the unnamed CIA whistleblower "had official and authorized access to the information and sources referenced in the Complainant’s Letter and Classified Appendix, including direct knowledge of certain alleged conduct."https://t.co/iam9ACBGZX pic.twitter.com/0V9aX23W7x— Brad Heath (@bradheath) September 30, 2019
The Inspector General for the Intelligence Community is now directly refuting the conspiracy theory floated by the Federalist https://t.co/mXeKCW8QBa— Owen Barcala (@obarcala) September 30, 2019
I’m pretty sure I have never seen the intelligence community’s IG give the president of the United Stares the middle finger. https://t.co/MzMiUIUXUB— David Corn (@DavidCornDC) September 30, 2019
Meanwhile, back among the people:
Agree, but it’s not real good if you’re president and only 47% of respondents say you shouldn’t be removed from your office. It’s also not a positive sign for @realDonaldTrump that this figure went down by *10 points* (from 57%) in just *five* days. https://t.co/ZUwHgd9WTz— George Conway (@gtconway3d) September 30, 2019
The nation’s top law enforcement official seeks foreign help to discredit the nation’s law enforcement and intelligence agencies https://t.co/UrV2br4rzQ— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) September 30, 2019
And yet another reason to remove Trump from office:
It occurs to me the revelations about Barr going to Australia and Italy are indications Trump has been nuts since the get-go, and that's becoming clear even to the intentionally obtuse among the media. Trump has been thumping Barr to find the source of the Nile he thinks the Mueller Report is, in order to root out his enemies (shades of Nixon!) and bring them into the light to PROVE Trump is the legend in his own mind that he knows the world should see he is! Frankly, misusing government power and personnel and monies to chase this white whale is grounds enough to remove him from office; if only the 25th Amendment meant anything.Crazy thought: Let’s find ourselves a president who doesn’t need adult supervision. https://t.co/0f8SLJE4bI— George Conway (@gtconway3d) September 30, 2019
But isn't it revealing that the Emperor has been naked all along, and only now are we all seeing it.
So . . If I understand this . . Barr is doing Trump’s bidding by going to other countries and seeking intel that would contradict our IC’s conclusions about Russia?— IncreasinglyUnhingedHat (@Popehat) September 30, 2019
Because Trump doesn’t like our IC’s conclusions?
Really?
And has been for a long time.
Aides to Trump are warning him he faces the real likelihood of being impeached. Some of those conversations occurred on Friday as Trump met with his impeachment team, we've learned. Advisers are divided over subject as some are reassuring Trump that Pelosi is just placating Dems.— Jim Acosta (@Acosta) September 30, 2019
This will not end well. And, in closing, another brick in the wall:
NEW: President Trump just told the White House press pool that he is actively "trying to find out" who the whistleblower is.— Travis Akers (@travisakers) September 30, 2019
The President is violating the Whistleblower Protection Act of 1989, 5 U.S.C. 2302(b)(8)-(9), Pub.L. 101-12.
It's the little things.
