No, that's not photoshopped. That's Trump speaking to the press just a few minutes ago, about Sondland's testimony.
Who has the capability to zoom in on and decipher Trump's notes here? https://t.co/8IWEqVzwNa— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) November 20, 2019
A few more highlights:
Bam -- right in the gut: "I don't know how you can characterize it as an irregular channel if you're talking about the Pres of US, Secretary of State, Chief of Staff, Secretary of Energy."— Harry Litman (@harrylitman) November 20, 2019
Castor violated lawyer's maxim, don't ask question you don't know the answer to.
Schiff took 15 minuets of the 45 that's been given to the Democratic counsel so far. It was hard to tell when Schiff broke off and Goldman took over, if you were listening on the radio. Same, oddly, is true for Nunes and Castor. The GOP counsel has been unbelievably bad in these hearings.
SCHIFF: You testified that that meeting was conditioned was a quid pro quo for the 2 investigations the president wanted. Is that right?— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) November 20, 2019
SONDLAND: Correct.
SCHIFF: And that everybody knew it.
SONDLAND: Correct. pic.twitter.com/3Tcw0OV1vT
Seems like a nice guy.
Ken Starr on Fox wonders if senate will nudge Trump to resign: “The real issue is if senators are watching. Are senators going to now say in light of what we hear today, ...‘We need to make a trip down to the White House’? That historic example set during the Nixon presidency."— Lois Romano (@loisromano) November 20, 2019
Nope. We had senators then like Arlen Specter and Howard Baker. Today we have Ron Johnson, Lindsay Graham, and Mitch McConnell. By the time the polls show GOP Senators going belly up, it'll be too late.
Sondland explains that what was important to Trump was Ukraine announcing the investigations, not whether they were actually conducted. He wanted a useful headline. pic.twitter.com/yQN4sCn3dF— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) November 20, 2019
Game over, man! Game over! Although I don't expect the final score until this time next year.
