2. The NRCC hired Crowdstrike
3. There was no physical DNC server so it couldn’t be given to anybody
4. Fiona Hill literally just testified that this is a conspiracy theory pushed by Russian intelligence https://t.co/zrKUz3HT1g
How Trump imagines the Senate Trial, only he can talk longer than 50 minutes:
Don't miss what's happening here: A television network is handing Donald Trump 47 minutes (and counting) to monologue, with zero fact checking or context— Chris Cillizza (@CillizzaCNN) November 22, 2019
Which will sound like a Shakespearean peroration in his head:
trump still ranting (lying) about the server and corruption, many people.. they say... what a lying, traitor, moron, deflecting questions on his network, fox news, fox and friends, "we have a lot of information, but I can't tell you my source" "fake news, democrats" trump ranting— JK #WakeUp (@jjk098) November 22, 2019
In the end, a Senate trial might be the best campaign ad the Democrats could have:
Donald Trump begins praising Rep. Elise Stefanik for defending him, but gets distracted while discussing stardom and seems to briefly forget what he was talking about in the first place. pic.twitter.com/BsfSdNJkk3— Bobby Lewis (@revrrlewis) November 22, 2019

Yeah, vote for this guy! What could go wrong?!

Here, let's condense that 57 minutes when he took over a basic cable TV program:
Brian Kilmeade asks Trump who told him about Obama's (nonexistent) efforts to undermine him from the beginning, but instead Trump rambles about his greatness and how unfair "Mueller and the crew" were to his administration. pic.twitter.com/g7mC2P1wKy— Bobby Lewis (@revrrlewis) November 22, 2019
Kilmeade tries to be clearer with his already very clear question; Trump refuses to say who his source is, and rambles about texts between "the two great lovers from the FBI." Ainsley Earhardt tries to move on but Trump just has to rant about the nasty and unfair fake news media. pic.twitter.com/LDGc3doxf2— Bobby Lewis (@revrrlewis) November 22, 2019
Now, imagine this guy testifying on his own behalf before the Senate, while millions who don't watch FoxNews watch their President unfiltered and unchained. The LBJ "Daisy" ad would be a punk effort compared to reality and the number of campaign ads the Dems could make from it.
And lest you think Trump doesn't want to go this route:
To Fox News Channel: Please, more of this. Have @realDonaldTrump on the line all day, every day. Maybe even have loyal #MAGA viewers call in and ask him questions. Ratings would go through the roof!— George Conway (@gtconway3d) November 22, 2019
And lest you think Trump doesn't want to go this route:
Graham and one other senator have been pushing for a two-week trial. White House isn't high on that idea. https://t.co/3qNZr7Qvsj— Maggie Haberman (@maggieNYT) November 22, 2019
