Sadly, I'm starting to think everything we worked so hard to build was a lie. https://t.co/qaXndEaj29— Rick Wilson (@TheRickWilson) December 2, 2019
If this is true, what does that make you guys? All the Republicans who see the past as a pack of lies, I mean.
It's not either/or; it's not that you should have been Democrats or something binary like that. But it's not pretty, is it?
I look at that fifty years and I see, among many other possible examples, the invasion of Cambodia, Watergate, the Ford pardon of the man who made him president, Reagan's many crimes, including Iran Contra and running the terrorist war, a continuation of the one which killed all of the martyrs including the 4 Church Women, I see Bush I needing to pardon Weinberger and a host of others who could have thrown him under the bus when they were prosecuted (William Barr being up to his eyeballs in that), I see the Brooks Brothers riot-putsch and the Republican 5 on the Supreme Court who ratfucked the election to put Bush II in office - with the direct collusion of John Ellis on FOX, his selling of the invasion of Iraq after his massive irresonsibility that led up to 9-11, not to mention all of the other crimes during his reign of error, leading up to the collapse of the economy as his buddies and cronies stole everything. And then there was Trump. And that leaves out Newt Gingrich, Denny Hastert, Paul Ryan, Mitch McConnell, and a host of other Republicans who have brought us here.
ReplyDeleteNo, the Republican Party has been filthy at least since Eisenhower left office. It's always been on this road.
