Pretty much into the sunset, alright.
Whole industries can be affected by crises. Trump's disastrous trade policies may well end agricultural sales from America to China if only because new suppliers have already stepped into fill that void. And now cruise ships, which Trump has made synonymous once again with "plague ships" by refusing to let one dock in California for weeks, are going to take a hit to their reputations they probably won't recover from.
Who wants to be on the next ship quarantined for weeks because of a virus?
If I'm going to be in a huge mega-hotel I want it to be one I can walk away from. I've never understood the attraction of a cruise. And that was before these monstrosities started to be built. I remember someone telling me you could make good money playing on one of those things (it being musicians, "good money" being relative) luckily it was back before no-smoking was much of a thing so it was out of the question. I can think of nothing more like hell being stuck on a ship of revelers where my job was to play oldies hits and 1970s pop music on request. I once thought hell would be like playing Branson forever but that's even more like it.
