The More Things Change....

Documents I obtained in a public records request showed that the previous DA to have the #ahmaudarbery shooting case did not think his pursuers should be arrested. Today a new DA said the case should go to a grand jury. More later, but here's something:https://t.co/rRVjTunSFS

I keep thinking of a scene I remember from "All In The Family," where Archie Bunker is talking to the young adult son of the Jeffersons (before their spinoff show, probably).  They're talking about jogging (it was the '70's) and Archie asks Lionel (?) why he doesn't do that near his home.  Lionel looks at him archly and says something like "A black man running in this neighborhood?"  And Archie knowingly nods in agreement.
