I think the next election, as soon as I vote I'll lock myself in a hermit's hut until January 24th. I can't take this anymore. I'm going to dedicate myself to discrediting and finding ways to get rid of the stinking Electoral College. If I hear one more person talking as if the entire South and Mid-West are comprised of Republican-fascists as the goddamned blue-red maps would have everyone believe, I'm going to get violent.
ReplyDeleteRacism is the ideology of attributing characteristics to a class or category of persons. It is pernicious, but only because it is based on race. Any other basis is acceptable, no matter how pernicious it really is. Trump uses it to damn “Democrats” (as he sees them). Small wonder it works so well.
