That's actually more realistic, although the Supremes could overturn Pennsylvania and declare Georgia and Arizona non-states. Or, you know, a giant rock could fall out of the sky and destroy all the ballots in AZ and/or GA and/or PA, before the votes could be certified, and THEN Trump is President (except he isn't, even then).

The case before the Supreme Court involves ballots PA has not tallied into the final statewide vote count.  If they are all thrown out, the result in PA stands.  QED. EOD.

Dan Patrick is an elected public official, and he doesn't know how the voting system works, the Presidential election system works, or the legal system works. High school civics stuff.
