Technical correction: The Court *denied* leave to file for lack of standing; Justices Thomas and Alito would have granted leave to file, but wrote to emphasize that they would *not* grant any other relief.

January 6: Joint session of Congress to count the electoral votes. Republicans can make noise / slow things down, but without House majority, they won’t be able to throw out any electors.

January 20: @JoeBiden is inaugurated.

*(BTW:  I knew the Court would reach a decision on the standing issue.  That's why I never gave a wet snap about detailed analyses of the "statistical evidence" (which was neither) or other "factual grounds" (also neither) that everyone else was going on about.  Gotta get into court before that shit matters.
