The group also discussed "an executive order to take control of voting machines to examine them," though it's unclear what that would accomplish. There's no reason to think the voting machines were hacked and it's unlikely that Trump's team has the technical know-how to alter the machines to generate vote tallies more pleasing to Trump. 

Executive orders have authority only over federal agencies.  Yes, the Emancipation Proclamation was an executive order.  But it ordered the U.S. forces to recognize all slaves as free in occupied territories (what they were, essentially, until Appomatox).  Executive orders have no authority over the courts (you can't tell the courts what to do by an E.O.) or over the states, which are sovereign.

The only way to seize the voting machines of six states would be to get six different federal judges to issue warrants for their seizure pursuant to a civil or criminal action.  I.e., file a civil suit, or a criminal claim, and immediately ask the court to seize the machines.  Given the track record of Trump and his minions in court since November 3rd, what do you think is going to happen?

Trump continues to imagine he has the powers of a king, albeit a king who is soon to lose those powers.  Some people continue to think he just might be right.  Which disturbs me just as much as the people who think Trump should have the powers of a king, a group with the sitting Attorney General among its members.

Honestly, I think there are as many idiots on one side of that equation as on the other.  Probably one reason the vote was so close.
