Violence is always unacceptable. Even when passions run high.

Anyone engaged in violence—especially against law enforcement—should be fully prosecuted.

When (not if) Congress reconvenes, the Republicans should formally withdraw their objections to Arizona’s (and any other states’) electors — and allow the Joint Session to proceed expeditiously to certification.
