...of fascism. Well, dictatorship. Something. Even the full Congress can’t do this by their votes, though they can vote (and will) to tell Pence to sit down and shut up. Congress still gets to make its own rules, and no rule gives Pence this kind of power.

(But it does give Trump one more whine about how he was cheated.

The things the president asserts that Pence can do are not actually things he can do, according to nearly every expert on what is allowed. But it does give a window into what we will likely hear from POTUS allies during debate when the joint session begins tomorrow.
