Obviously I Was Premature In My Judgment

And now he's accusing the Democratic House of "unprecedented radical positions" in bringing this impeachment. Huh. My first thought exactly. Yeah, uh....no. Exactly. You get what you pay for. Right, Sen. Graham? I didn't see the video, I just heard the voices in another room (where the radio is). I've no doubt this is a fair summation. That actually does explain a lot. Schoen reminds me of Tom screaming at the Congressional hearing as Michael just put a shiv in the government's witness. All theater, in other words.

And now he's making a due process argument in an impeachment hearing.  Apparently the House voting on an article of impeachment while Trump was in the last days of his office deprived Trump of the "right to be eligible to hold public office again."  Except he has the opportunity to test and confront the evidence right now; which is all that's required.  No criminal defendant gets to confront and cross examine witnesses in a grand jury proceeding.  They only get to do that at trial.  I absolutely do not understand his argument here.
