But Trump represents an existential threat to democracy! He speaks for millions! His very word sways the masses! His glance makes the tides come in, or go out! It is for him the sun rises! He is the greatest national leader since Hitler! Thousands are ready to fall on their swords in his name!

Or he's just an ex-President receding rapidly in the rear-view mirror of the nation.
