When legal analysts say "so far no evidence,” they mean presented by the prosecution. A reminder the prosecution is under no obligation to tell all that it knows until the trial.

Notably, Trump at his rally conceded the core facts of the criminal case are true.

Trump specifically mentioned Weisselberg's car lease, apartment, and tuition payments.

He then asserted that "every company" does "fringe benefits" but he was singled out for prosecution.

Trump’s stupidity is going to make him his own worst enemy.

It's similar to what he did throughout the Mueller investigation...except Trump's advisers did not think there was a strong likelihood of charging a sitting president. Vance's office is still investigating Trump, and there's no longer a shield from prosecution.
