Chuck Todd on MTP Daily today (on MSNBC) had two GOP partisans, and two Democratic ones, on to discuss the politics of covid. It was, in general, a perfectly loathseome discussion. But one of the GOP figures (I wasn't paying attention to who was who) opined that DeSantis loved being elevated to the level of the POTUS by Biden's recent notice of him. Pretty much a "as long as he spells his name right" kind of argument.Yep, #GovernorWho is my new favorite https://t.co/iHoJythiDp

As a Floridian: Unless you are willing to take the risk, don't come here right now. Positivity rate is above 18%, ICU's are over capacity. If you need care for any reason like a stroke, heart attack or accident, you are screwed. Painful to say but it's the truth.

As a Floridian, I listen to scientists and pay attention to number of cases and hospitalizations, not politicians. Kids under 12 are paying consequences of adults not being vaccinated. Shame on anyone trying to exploit COVID for political purposes while kids are on ventilators. pic.twitter.com/iDW9xeVO5h
