Just To Belabor The Obvious

Is this claim (which was apparently so nuts we’re just now hearing about it):

A) more “dangerous disinformation?

B) the perfect metaphor for how utterly idiotic this entire “election fraud” discussion is?

I really need to know how to categorize it.

  1. I've had the sense that they don't care if anything they use cohere, they figure anything will do if enough suckers will buy it. Marilynne Robinson, in her description of the English tradition of aristocratic social thought noted that any argument is welcomed if it supported a valued conclusion, only they were trying to seem to be trying, these days they don't much care. I don't think their audience cares if what they have supplied as a rationale coheres or is totally wacky. Racism never much cared about that, nor any of their other desired conclusions. Entertainment has not helped, the structure of a scant two hour movie or, more so, a 40 or 20 minute TV show trains people to not care if what structures their minds is realistic as long as they like the ending.
