"The Evil Is Revealing Itself"

There's a story by Price Day, "Four O'Clock," that's a little gem of its kind. Rod Serling wrote a teleplay version of it for "The Twilight Zone" but, like most adaptations to another medium, the original is far superior.  There are copies of it available on the web if you don't have one on your bookshelf; I commend it to your reading.

The basic story is that a man is convinced he will have the power to reveal all evil persons by reducing their height by one-half, at four o'clock p.m. on the day of the story.  It works, too.  The evil people are revealed.  But as the old adage goes, be careful what you wish for....

I don't know why I think of that story in connection with Mike Lindell's latest rant on Steve Bannon's podcast (does Bannon do anything else on that podcast?  If not for Lindell, would Bannon have an audience?).  Maybe it's the idea of the evil revealing itself, and being careful what you wish for, and never considering that one finger pointing in accusation leaves three pointing back at....

  1. Mike Lindell is the court fool of the kingdom of Satan. Any healthy democracy would have suppressed him to the extent people would say "Mike who?" His god is Mammon, that's essential to understand whenever he talks about religion stuff.
