Texas passed a law to criminalize behavior regarding the conduct of elections. They meant to get at “fraud “ by public officials, and gave Paxton the power to enforce it. First a grand jury wouldn’t go along with him: then, in another case Paxton brought, the Texas Court of Criminal Appeals threw the law out for violating the Texas Constitution. Which means it’s over. In Texas, Trump’s efforts have failed.
