When I was practicing law in Austin (30+ years ago now; where does the time go?), one of my favorite judges always appeared on the bench with his robe open and a casual shirt beneath it. Sometimes he left the door to his chambers open behind the bench, and you could see this poster on his wall:Compare that order to the Zoom hearing I'm watching now in the Central District of California, in which a federal prosecutor has a Sex Pistols poster prominently displayed.
