Once more, with feeling: petroleum is a global market. Oil is purchased on that market from suppliers. The U.S. doesn’t buy oil from Russia. Corporations buy oil on the world market.

Trump is too stupid to know that. Don’t be Trump.

“Freedom will triumph over tyranny.” Try to imagine TFG ever saying that. Or quoting the President of Ukraine favorably.

Trump’s statement quoted here is just: “Me, me, me! It’s all about me!” Contrast that with Biden, who united  the world against Russia (Putin was the cause, Biden the coordinator). It’s already been noted Biden is letting Europe take the credit. The contrast couldn’t be sharper.

“Putin’s war in Ukraine will have left Russia weaker, and the rest of the world stronger….He will never, never, never weaken the resolve of the free world.” Hard not to reflect on how much better off we are without Trump.

And Republicans booing as Biden said all Trump accomplished was a tax cut for the rich, while he gave America (already!) a huge boost for everybody, which the Democrats stood and cheered, is just great TeeVee.
