It hasn’t gotten much attention but some 2024 news unfolded in DC last night: @GovChrisSununu, a Republican, called Trump “(expletive) crazy” in humorous but pointed remarks at the Gridiron dinner. And he cast Trump as oblivious and poll-obsessed when recalling their past chats.

The Russian government is already denouncing the clear evidence of war crimes we’re seeing come out of Bucha as “fake.” It’s as cynical as it is lazy. Everything is fake. Everything is an elaborate conspiracy to discredit Russia. But the simple answer is Russia discredits itself.
