The irony of the Sussman trial is that Durham charged him with the same "process crime" that Trump and his sycophants claimed was not a "real" crime and only used when you can't find anything else -- and based on much less evidence and materiality than Papa D. or Flynn 🙄

I had a friend who had worked as a legal secretary for many years to a criminal defense lawyer. She said whenever he lost a trial he came back to the office with the same reply: “Justice was served!”

Also, that’s not a HUMILIATINGLY fast verdict for a two-week white-collar case, but it’s definitely not a vote of confidence in the quality of the case.

There was such temendous bad faith in this prosecution. The foot dragging. The florid motion for a hearing on whether counsel should be recused.

It's time for Durham to wind down his SCO.

I’ve said before it was not a case worth bringing. I’m glad the jury agreed with me. Here is a fine evidentiary basis as explanation:

Over a month after he was indicted, Sussmann complained that Durham had not yet given him the taxi expense reports as Brady material yet. From the start, he argued that disproved Durham's case.

How important was that?

Reupping: Last Friday, the jury asked for what happened to be the taxi receipts showing Sussmann did not bill for transit to the FBI. Durham had not submitted it as evidence.

They got the exhibit today.

Then they acquitted.
