Punishing crimes before they happen (a la "Minority Report") would not violate the Constitution, but banning the sale of assault weapons would! Many must die so our rights are preserved!

"No, I think both sides create the atmosphere," the former governor replied. "So where the president has said the stuff that he's said in his speech the other evening [last] week and the emotion he says it with, he is essentially trying to imply that people that disagree with him are immoral. And I think when you start raising it to that level, you better win because if you don't, the other side will never move towards you ever if you're going to say this is a purely moral issue and if you don't agree with me, yeah, then you're immoral."

He just doesn’t like it. Emotions. Morals. Aren’t those supposed to be Republican things?

It’s “Black people, frankly," the senate hopeful explained. 

He thinks that mass shootings are happening more frequently due to gang violence, which he associates with Black people. He told the Jeff Oravits Show that “we do have a gun violence problem in this country, and it’s gang violence.”  

“It’s people in Chicago, St. Louis shooting each other. Very often, you know, Black people, frankly,” Masters explained. “And the Democrats don’t want to do anything about that."

By “gets it” I mean he’s right, the gun problem in America is about race. Except he is a racist, so he has it completely ass-backwards. (He also doesn’t explain Uvalde, Tulsa, Sandy Hook, Columbine, etc., etc., etc. But he does explain that he’s a racist, so there’s that.)

He’s endorsed by Trump and he’s buddies with Peter Thiel. Huh; imagine that.

A boy who played Little League. A girl who dreamed of becoming a veterinarian. Several children who had just made the honor roll.

He’s a racist asshole monster; so I guess his most famous supporters are no surprise. And Gov.Christie: if you aren’t emotional over the deaths of those children, if their deaths aren’t a moral issue, then you are part of the problem. You are the monster.
