And I say this as someone who, were I a Pennsylvania voter, would certainly consider John Fetterman's recovery relevant to my vote.

But the nation deserved (and still deserves) 100,000x more extensive analysis of the derangement of a man who was in charge of a nuclear arsenal.

Mr. Fetterman suffered a stroke, a physical problem which can produce mental, even behavioral, symptoms.

But mental/behavioral symptoms absent a known physical cause (and presumed causal connection) is just a matter of opinion.

Either way we’re making assumptions as to causation. But in one case that’s okay, in another it isn’t.
