As I understand it, Tesla's value in the stock market is largely based on it being a tech company, not a car company. Because as a car company, it pretty much sucks, and seems to have suckered a number of larger players into a very shallow pool far too early (Ford has shut down its specially built factory for electric F-150's because, well, they just can't get it right. Where is Elon's "cyber truck," by the way?). OTOH, Mercedes is marketing a car that meets "level 3" self-driving standards, which is better than anything Tesla has ever done.Don’t worry, Elon solved the problem of his likes. https://t.co/i3BTYjLjgv

Or, now it seems, will ever do.
I guess the salvation of our way of life will have to be postponed just a bit longer. There is a precedent for what the world tends to do with saviors, you know....
