I really don’t think the Trump violence is ever as spontaneous as she assumes, and it certainly won’t be widespread. Not like the joy at Biden’s election.

On Saturday Morning, Donald Trump claimed on Truth Social that he will be "arrested" on Tuesday by the Manhattan district attorney's office and called for public protests.

The interesting thing about this is Trump is back on Facebook and YouTube and Twitter, and I’ve been assured he’s abandoned Truth Social, where he certainly has the smallest audience. Though Raw Story publishing this does support emptywheel’s concerns, will this spark riots in the streets of Manhattan? Doubtful.

I won’t post what he said, but I will say it sets new standards for American carnage, antisemitism, white supremacy, xenophobia, continuing misappropriation of a  traditional German Christmas bread, and the greatest abuse of excessive deployment of capital letters in English literary history. It’s also completely unhinged and an absolute argument for not letting this guy near anything sharper than a rubber ball.
