Being too young is bad, too: Just like the laws that prevent felons from voting. It’s not meant to be a deterrent to committing a felony. (How many white-collar felons do you know?)

Or maybe they just want to suppress reasoning:
As Jamelle Bouie said, you really have to know what she’s talking about, to know what she’s talking about. I’m not as concerned with this “town hall” as I am with this framing. Voting in the GOP primaries won’t start until February, 2024. So how is Trump a “front runner,” except in polls? Maybe that’s an important distinction for donors who want to back the winner, but for a news network? I’m not worried about AI taking over our minds with tendentious writing (that horse has left the barn; that barn is cold ashes. Tendentious writing, I mean.), anymore than I’m worried about the power of photoshop, which we are all so used to we just laugh when we see it. Now that photographs can be faked just like paintings (actually Stalin was doing it, so “now” is a bit of an anachronism), we just roll on rather than collapse into anarchy.

I do worry about the people dumb enough to be impressed by such ridiculous images. I wonder how they manage to dress themselves.
