But Trump is the front runner and nobody likes Christie! Or maybe 40,000 people really, really don’t like Trump?

I watched this interview Sunday morning:

Even Chuck Todd fact-checked Pence on the claim Hillary was never investigated; a pity Todd wasn’t similarly up to date on 300+ prosecutions for BLM-related protests. Odd how such news so quickly disappears from memory. Memory is a paltry thing, but it’s still no excuse for bearing false witness.

Pious Pence should know that.

And in local news yesterday morning: Expert Gives Insight On Race In America. That’s a general link, not a specific. So you might need to scroll to that headline. The guest is the Director of Critical Race Studies at the University of Houston-Downtown. He  gives a succinct and excellent explanation of CRT, and why it’s both necessary and important. He starts with the basic premise that race is something invented in America for the purpose of slavery, and it was written into the constitution and so upheld as a valid concept at law until about 60 years ago.

Not long ago at all. Not nearly long enough to eradicate from our law; or our culture.

I cannot recommend the interview too highly.
