And it is. I’d also say this reaction is the progeny of Shelby County. Congratulations, Mr. Chief Justice.

But it’s not shocking. Nor even unique.

Ruby Bridges was escorted to school on November 24, 1960.

The past isn’t over; it’s not even past.
