The Rodney King defense was to take the video frame by frame and argue it was impossible to lay blame on any one police officer. Trump’s lawyers may try this tack, but I expect Willis will put every single statement in context and show the connection to the crimes.

Besides, I have yet to see evidence that Trump’s lawyers are that good; or will be.

Yeah, well, that’s because that was a drug case. (She’s not wrong, conspiracy law sucks. I learned that in law school. But the difference here is because that was a drug case; and Trump is a rich, white guy. We grade people on a curve, starting with skin color, ending with $$$. People will insist on that distinction; which doesn’t mean the jury will.)
