Because that “life of the mother” exception is bullshit. That still draws in a jury reviewing whether Mom’s life was really in danger, because the purpose is still criminalization, of the doctor if not the mother.

Fuck that. Abortion at the last minute is a medical decision, not an “I changed my mind” decision. Make it legal, make it safe, and leave pregnant women the FUCK alone!
