More reasons to argue Trump is being treated differently (and gently). Which is less a reason to treat Trump more harshly, but more to treat all criminal suspects like Trump. (When Bill Hobby was a prominent Texas politician and notorious drunk, he was arrested in Austin for DWI. He negotiated what became known locally as the Hobby rule, which was extended to all comers after negotiations with the DA by a lawyer I later worked for. That’s how you do it.) MAGA, of course, doesn’t want that. Justice, for them,  is for “just us.”
