Best response outside the DOJ possible.

Let’s be honest: if Trump had no money and was making these claims, he’d probably already be facing a hearing to revoke bond. But he does (or somebody’s money), and he would appeal. Which would, yes, delay the case, and possibly be a victory for him. The court is not interested in his shenanigans, and three strikes, he’s out (maybe fewer). Then, when Trump appeals, there is a solid record for the Court of Appeals.

Who will probably leave it to the trial court’s discretion, at that point.
