Sorry but this is a ridiculous. Gaetz is awful, but you can't expel people for being awful and you *especially* can't when you've got Gosar and Santos in your caucus.

I find it hard to believe some people are so naive.

Gosar and Santos are objectively more repellent and unfit for public office (barely) than Gaetz. But the ethics complaint against Gaetz involves his alleged trafficking in young women. So the “barely” is pretty bare. And it’s the complaint before the House Ethics Committee that’s providing traction to the rumor.

Besides, when did Gosar or Santos claim to have their hands on the reins, and then drive the House into a ditch? A ditch it took the Democrats to pull them out of?

In the world of “what have you done to/for us lately?,” Gaetz wins the booby prize.
