Three Strikes, Yer Out! 👎

I don’t believe Trump will testify at the E. Jean Carroll trial for 3 reasons: he would subject himself to perjury and contempt charges and cause the punitive damages to skyrocket.

Three reasons why he shouldn’t testify.

1/ Perjury. The jury in the last trial found that Trump knew his attacks on EJC were false. He keeps defaming her anyway. Doing so under oath would be perjury. And a jury hearing him attack her would cause punitive damages to go through the roof.

3/ Damages. Habba denied that Trump unleashed his followers on EJC and argued he should not have to pay for their actions. But no way Trump disclaims his influence or condemns his followers. Failure to denounce the vile threats on EJC = big punitive damages.
