Granted, most of the nation can’t identify a Supreme Court justice if you spot them Alito (“Who?” 🤷🏻♂️). And you’d have to explain, slowly, why the flags are a problem, and even then: 🤷🏻♂️The title says, "A Federal Judge Wonders: How Could Alito Have Been So Foolish?"

Alito is not being foolish. He is being arrogant. He knows that in the current scheme of things, he is untouchable. pic.twitter.com/3sMeP61Ac5
But if you’re paying enough attention to be upset, especially after the leak of Dobbs and the shamelessness (and lawlessness) of Thomas, you know enough to know a Supreme Court justice has not been removed from the bench without his cooperation, in the history of the country. (And why are flags the last straw? Because every major officeholder likes freebies?)
Barring a massive blue wave in 2024 that ushers in a majority of really pissed off Democratic Senators, history is not going to radically change.
Sam Alito ain’t Abe Fortas. I should have thought that much was obvious.
