Trade deals can’t be made for the U.S. without the approval of Congress.
Trade deals can’t be disregarded unilaterally by the President.
Trump has ignored trade deals he made before, and which Congress had approved.
No country is going to consider any trade deal with the U.S. as valid as long as Trump is in office.
So this is all just empty verbiage.
It really wouldn’t be “stating an opinion” to report it that way.
