I wonder what he means by “civilization”? Well, I don’t, really…

That image could be taken from the Westerns I watched as a kid. You’d never know there any non-white people in American history in those days. Mexicans were “bandits.” Asians were Chinese railroad labor (or ran laundries). Blacks were happily (and dutifully) subservient to white men. And the only good “Indian,” was a dead “Indian”

And “liberals” lived “back East” and weren’t real men, because they didn’t smoke the same cigarettes as The Duke.

That’s the “civilization” Miller yearns for.  Trump, too. But don’t call ‘em racist! ‘Cause that would be rude.
