It’s really not. For one thing: where’s the rebellion? The utter inability to enforce the law? Anywhere in this country, I mean. He’s striking out in two circuit courts, and the Supremes don’t (yet) seem anxious to give him a green light.  The Insurrection Act is basically the authority that’s already been rejected, on the grounds there is no basis for it.

UPDATE: Israel is striking all over Gaza, claiming Hamas violated the ceasefire.

Hamas says they didn’t, and it was settlers running over an explosive device.

At least one of the three victims extrajudicially killed in the strike was Colombian lifelong fisherman Alejandro Carranza. Alejandro’s identity is confirmed by his cousin.

The Colombian boat was adrift and had its distress signal up due to an engine failure.
