Collins: The New York Times is reporting your legal team is seeking $230 million from your own justice department in response to the investigations into you. He's not denying reports.
Trump: I don't know the numbers, I don't talk to them about it. I know they owe me a lot of money but I'm not looking for money. I would give it to charity. They rigged the election…
That decision would have to go across my desk. It's strange to make a decision where I am paying myself. One of those cases where you have to decide how much you are paying yourself in damages. I was damaged greatly, and any money I would get I would give to charity
President Donald Trump is demanding that the Justice Department give him $230 million to cover his legal fees for the investigations into him over the Russia probe, for stealing classified documents, and for the Jan. 6 attack and his attempt to overturn the 2020 election, The New York Times reported Tuesday. It’s okay, he doesn’t take his salary. (He’s never revealed what charity gets it.)
Well, I guess they probably owe me a lot of money for that," Trump replied. "Probably, yeah, that's true. That's very interesting. No, I get no salary. I gave up my salary. It's a good salary."
But he’s gonna give the $230 million to charity. Trust him! Has he ever lied to you?Not taking a salary, but demanding 575x his salary as tribute from DOJ. https://t.co/UiW4GcwoVT

Trump truly doesn’t see the distinction between his own private business and the federal government. And the other two branches, the GOP controlled Congress and the Sinister Six in control of the Supreme Court, are silent and complicit. So we’re now paying federal taxes so Donald Trump can withdraw them from the Treasury like it’s his own personal bank account? Really?
